Drunk Girl Comics is an ongoing zine and web comic detailing the efforts of one special lady boozing and dating in the city. Co-conspirators Meredith Scott and Courtney Whitman Dishart have created a charming and sassy character that makes the feistiest of broads pale in comparison. DGC is the product of much philosophizing over a friend who likes to drink too much. Rather than drag a comrade to AA, Meredith and Courtney make comics glorifying her for the enjoyment of others. Interventions are best left to reality shows, anyways.Canzine, Pop with Brains and Square Foot veterans, DGC looks forward to publishing a full length book that showcases a tasty palate of pints, cupcakes, and hot pants.

Meredith Scott is a graduate of the Theatre Production Program at Humber College. She currently is completing a Bachelor of Arts and Contemporary Studies at Ryerson University. She is a founding member of Praxis Theatre working as a Stage Manager and Production Manager, helping to establish both workshops and award winning productions. She has been a researcher in the field of spirits and ales for quite some time now. Creating this comic seemed like the most appropriate way to display years of liquid data.
Courtney Whitman Dishart is a recent York University graduate in English and Communications. Aspiring to travel to every awesome music festival in the world, Courtney spends her time fine tuning her air guitar style through a deep appreciation of method acting and gold spandex. Throughout her work in the arts and entertainment industry, Courtney has learned that nothing is more sacred that the backstage booze rider.
Carrie Bloomfield is a constant source of support to the Drunk Girl Comics team. As a professional graphic designer, artist and cake decorator, Carrie is responsible for creating our logo, taking photos and baking for our parties. Carrie paints murals and designs for both high end clients and tiny DIY operations like DGC. While we think she is fabulous, Carrie is a total half pint and frequently comes in last during our company chug off.
